Rozita Rohaizad is a talented and versatile Malaysian actor and singer. She comes

FROM A Family of Malaysian legends in the music and arts industry . Her mother and father are Seniwati Mariani Ismail and H.M.Rohaizad whilst her aunt and uncle

are the late great Puan Sri Saloma and Tan Sri P. Ramlee.


Rozita has recorded over 40 popular songs in pop, pop jazz, dangdut and traditional Malay genre. Her most popular classic oldie is Cik Cik Boom and Hingga keakhirnya whilst her latest songs aired on radio currently are Keroncong Anak Ikan and Joget malam pertama.


Rozita has starred in five local films such as Setinggan, Sumpahan Puaka, Dendam Dari Pusara, Serampang Tiga and Phuyal 18 . In Setinggan and Sumpang Puaka she sang the films soundtracks. Rozita also acted in several tv dramas and telefilms such as Gerak khas, Tanah kubor and several others. Rozita also acted in several theatrical production since 2008..


In addition to all these , Rozita has repeatedly represented Malaysia at the National multicultural festival in Canberra, Malaysia fest Sydney, the fifth North Sumatra jazz fest, the 1st and 2nd Silaturrahmi keroncong nusantara Indonesia, gREBEk kERONCONG FESTIVAL SALATIGA and has

appeared on Fuji Television Japan and most recently on Channel31 Melbourne and channel 44 Adelaide Australia.


Carrying on her family s stellar legacy, Rozita now also actively pursue her other passion which is writing songs and lyrics just like her late father H. M . Rohaizad
